Gloria J. Matzig is an American citizen, born in Kentucky. She moved to Aachen in 1983.  
She studied business administration and economics at Clark Technical College and Wright State University in Ohio, and at the University of Denver in Colorado. Qualification: MBA (Master of Business Administration) 

Gloria Matzig attended various teacher training courses in Germany, USA, Scotland, England, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Austria. Her teaching qualification is: CertTIEB (Certificate for Teaching International English for Business) from London Guildhall University’s and York Associates’ course held at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg FH.

 In the USA, she got business and commercial experience as a stenographer, secretary, executive assistant, legal secretary, junior accountant, buyer, sales clerk and office manager for two major international manufacturers, as well as in other smaller companies.

In Germany, Gloria Matzig works as a foreign language correspondent. She is also an official examiner for Aachen IHK for English language examinations and she works as a translator for Canadian Consulate.

Her teacher / trainer experience started in 1989. She held various beginning, intermediate, advanced and business and technical English courses, and English language seminars at the Volkshochschule and in-company and several private courses and seminars.
